8k Run / Walk

Why an 8k?

We chose 8k for our race distance as a tribute to the many women who have or will develop Breast Cancer.  Sadly, statistics show that 1 out of every 8 women will develop invasive Breast Cancer at some time in their lives.  1 out of every 8 women is too many – by running or walking in the 1 in 8k Moore for the Cure, you can help change the statistics and change lives in the process!
